espresso is seeking a Web account manager with a university degree in administration, marketing, or a related field with a minimum of three years’ experience in an interactive agency. The incumbent will be in charge of managing client accounts under the direction of the president.

Job description

Full-time position. The account manager is the primary client contact person and is responsible for validating, understanding, and coming up with an action plan to achieve clients’ expectations. In order to successfully manage accounts, the incumbent must have an excellent understanding of his/her clients’ business objectives and of market trends, and have a long-term goal of increasing the business activity of each of his/her accounts. From a project management point of view, the account manager is also in charge of creating and planning the bulk of client-related tasks.

Responsibilities

- Take part in Web and social media strategic planning and long-term development

- Study the online market and marketing trends

- Develop a relationship of trust with clients and demonstrate an ability to analyze clients’ needs

- Produce and manage clients’ creative briefs, deadlines, and budgets

- Work in tandem with the Web project manager, creative team, and production team

- Ensure the smooth operation of various projects and files

- Achieve targeted financial objectives

Requirement/Skills

- Knowledge of all steps involved in developing a Web project

- Excellent knowledge of interactive media in general and of the industry

- Ability to establish priorities, work under pressure, and manage several projects at a time, all the while respecting budgets and deadlines

- Independence, excellent team spirit, leadership, motivation, and good communication skills

- Excellent command of written and spoken French and English

- Good spoken and written communication skills

- High self-esteem, people skills, and professionalism

- An analytical mind, good sense of judgment, and good organizational skills
